In response to my dear friend Ava’s post. on fb..” thankful for all the worrisome “what If’s” that never happened…I had to chuckle and respond.. ” no more” what if’s” in Jesus Name” ..we don’t have to figure it all out. It makes my head hurt…lol..
But as I sat and pondered those words of how she chose to be thankful and I chose to get over myself and stopped over thinking everything; I felt led to write my version of “what if’s” that I have lived off of for so many years.. I see how God keeps bringing us through the fiery trials of life and uses them to teach us and show us His love. He is so gentle and patient loving and kind.
The Lord began to remind me of His promises.. If our “what if’s” are based out of fear of the unknown.. yes, we should ask for the faith to dare and believe God has our back and we should repent of worry. He is faithful even when we don’t believe and trust Him. We just suffer with all the mental anguish.
What if God’s people…
chose to believe what He says about them..
everyday… as He dances over his children.. the perfect Daddy.. the only Papa that never lets us down…
What if..we lived like we only had today…
.would we live a different way?
would we watch what we say?
instead of living in dismay?
What if..we loved like there was no tomorrow and we gave from the heart..
allowing the blood of Jesus to heal the pain deep within
not living for self, but for others..Joy….Jesus, others then you.. what a wonderful way to spell JOY
What if… we allowed the Holy Spirit to send the rain…
so friends and families would never part
living refreshed daily as we stayed focused on the cross and not our mountains..
What if… we made right choices because we knew Jesus’ love and received His promises for today.
Wouldn’t we respond in a more loving way regardless of the offenses?
What if… the church became an army of the Lord..a pure and spotless Bride waiting for their Groom..Oh so patiently waiting for His triumphal entry
What if… we ran this race with perseverance and with diligence and gave like Jesus gave..
flogged to no recognition, purely innocent, yet he said not a word…
What if… for just one day we saw what Jesus sees in us
Would we be the Daniel and stand for Him as He has stood for us, strong and courageous
What if …we gave our mouths to Him as Moses did and gave all the inadequacies to Him
and answered our Call..
These are only a few of my What if’s that I have to answer everyday.. and my responses to these make me who I am and who I am not.
What would we do with our pain and anguish is up to us here on this earth. Jesus took it all for us 2000 years ago..
May we answer His Call for just today.. and say Yes to His sweetness, His gentleness and His patience..
Our worrisome “what If’s” will fade away as we go further still and lay them at the feet of Jesus.
He makes all things New.. His promises are YES and AMEN..
What If … we the people Cried Out..
You said you would have mercy on us.. and HEAL our land..
May we look at the ” what if’s” Today..while we still have today…
What a great blessing! I’m glad I stopped by, and thanks so much for being faithful to Him
By the way…in case no one else has, I’ve nominated you for a Liebster! God bless…:D
